Electronic prescriptions (eRPs)

Electronic prescriptions (eRP) are mandatory as of January 1, 2024 for those with mandatory health insurance, with some exceptions (green prescriptions, private prescriptions, doctor's prescriptions, BTM prescriptions, etc.).

The prerequisite is the presentation of an electronic medical card (insurance card) during the quarter.

The drug is picked up at the pharmacy on the basis of the medical card after ordering the drug from us.

The wish remains the same - all prescriptions for long-acting drugs should be ordered at least one day in advance so that they can be checked and signed.

Due to the transition to electronic prescriptions, we can only accept orders for repeat prescriptions for long-term medications if the insurance card has already been scanned in the current quarter. Otherwise, please bring your insurance card before placing your order.

Once the order is placed, the e-prescription can be processed at the pharmacy no later than the next business day.

How to process an e-prescription?
1. With the medical card (insurance card): Just insert the card into the terminal at the pharmacy, pay and get the medicine.

Private prescriptions cannot be created as e-prescriptions, so you can still get them at the front desk the next business day in paper form.
